BJP Targets Congress Over Karnataka Paper Leak, Questions Priyank Kharge’s Response
BJP attacks Congress over Karnataka paper leak issue, questions Priyank Kharge’s remarks on student protests and resignation, while alleging disruption of Parliament’s Monsoon Session.
The BJP highlighted the alleged irregularities in the Karnataka police constable recruitment scam and questioned the response of Congress leader Priyank Kharge when he was asked about the issue.
According to the BJP, Priyank Kharge responded with arrogance and said that students should first continue their hunger strike for 25 days, after which “we will get lathi-charge done.” The BJP further stated that only after such action would he consider his resignation.
The BJP’s remarks came amid allegations related to the Karnataka police constable recruitment process and the reported irregularities surrounding it. The party questioned the Congress government’s handling of the matter and targeted its response to the concerns raised by students.
Meanwhile, the BJP also accused the opposition of disrupting the Monsoon Session of Parliament. It said that since the beginning of the Monsoon Session, Question Hour has not been taking place and discussions on bills have not been held.
The BJP’s criticism has intensified the political debate over the Karnataka paper leak issue and the functioning of Parliament during the ongoing Monsoon Session.
